Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made for C6 Smash Camps ("the Camp"), operated by C6 Cricket Development Ltd ("C6", "we", "our", "us").
By completing a booking, the parent, guardian or person with parental responsibility ("Parent") agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of themselves and the participant ("Child").
2. Eligibility
2.1 Participants must be within the advertised age range for the Camp.
2.2 Parents must provide accurate information regarding the Child's age, medical conditions, allergies, emergency contacts and any additional support requirements.
2.3 C6 reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where inaccurate information has been provided or where we reasonably believe we cannot safely accommodate the participant.
3. Bookings and Payments
3.1 A place is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
3.2 Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
3.3 All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include any applicable taxes.
3.4 We reserve the right to amend prices prior to booking confirmation.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
By Parents
4.1 Cancellation more than 28 days before the Camp start date:
- Full refund less a £20 administration fee.
4.2 Cancellation between 14 and 28 days before the Camp start date:
- 50% refund.
4.3 Cancellation within 14 days of the Camp start date:
- No refund unless the place can be resold.
4.4 No refunds will be given for:
- Non-attendance.
- Late arrival.
- Early departure.
- Change of mind after the Camp has commenced.
Medical Circumstances
4.5 At our discretion, a credit note or partial refund may be offered where a participant is unable to attend due to illness or injury and appropriate evidence is provided.
By C6
4.6 If C6 cancels a Camp, a full refund or transfer to another Camp will be offered.
5. Camp Changes
5.1 We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to schedules, activities, venues, coaches or programmes where necessary.
5.2 Activities may be modified due to weather conditions, facility availability, safety concerns or other operational requirements.
6. Medical Information
6.1 Parents must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications and support requirements at the time of booking.
6.2 Parents must ensure emergency contact details remain current.
6.3 Where medication is required during Camp hours, arrangements must be agreed with Camp staff in advance.
6.4 In the event of illness or injury, C6 may seek appropriate medical treatment and Parents agree to reimburse any costs not covered by public healthcare services.
7. Health and Safety
7.1 All participants must follow the instructions of Camp staff at all times.
7.2 Participants must wear suitable sports clothing and footwear.
7.3 Participants must bring:
- A refillable water bottle.
- Appropriate sun protection.
- Weather-appropriate clothing.
7.4 Participants must not attend if suffering from a contagious illness.
8. Behaviour Standards
8.1 We aim to provide a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for all participants.
8.2 Bullying, discrimination, abusive language, violence, deliberate damage to property or persistent disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
8.3 Parents may be required to collect a participant immediately if behaviour presents a safety risk or significantly disrupts the Camp.
8.4 No refund will be provided where a participant is removed due to misconduct.
9. Safeguarding
9.1 C6 is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
9.2 All staff and volunteers will operate in accordance with the Safeguarding Policy and relevant UK safeguarding guidance.
9.3 Any safeguarding concerns may be reported to relevant authorities where appropriate.
10. Collection and Supervision
10.1 Parents are responsible for ensuring participants are signed in and out in accordance with Camp procedures.
10.2 Children will only be released to authorised adults identified during registration unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.
10.3 Parents are responsible for their Child outside Camp operating hours.
11. Photography, Video and Media
11.1 Photographs and video footage may be taken during Camp activities.
11.2 Images may be used for:
- Marketing and promotional materials.
- Social media channels.
- Website content.
- Sponsor and partner communications.
11.3 Parents may opt out of photography and video use by notifying C6 in writing before the Camp commences.
12. Personal Property
12.1 Participants bring personal belongings at their own risk.
12.2 C6 accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where required by law.
13. Liability
13.1 Cricket and sporting activities involve an inherent level of risk.
13.2 C6 will take all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and operate appropriate risk management procedures.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud.
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.
13.4 Subject to Clause 13.3, C6's liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the participant's booking.
14. Data Protection
14.1 Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
14.2 Information will be used for:
- Camp administration.
- Safeguarding.
- Emergency contact purposes.
- Operational communications.
14.3 Personal data will not be sold to third parties.
15. Force Majeure
15.1 C6 shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including severe weather, government restrictions, facility closures, industrial action, public health emergencies or other unforeseen events.
16. Governing Law
16.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16.2 Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
